Why We’re Raffling Solovino

Solovino was one of the last projects our dad, Rito Antonio Rodriguez, poured his heart into before he passed away unexpectedly on May 23rd.
After losing him, Solovino became more than just an animal to us, he became a piece of our dad that was still here. A reminder of his patience, his love for animals, and the life he built caring for the land and everything entrusted to him.

Since our dad's passing, our youngest brother, also named Rito, has stepped up to care for Solovino. He feeds him, watches over him, and has tried his best to keep him safe and loved. But Solovino is growing quickly. He is now too big, too strong, and too energetic to stay in the backyard. He needs more space, more care, and a home where he can continue to grow the way our dad would have wanted.

Letting him go is incredibly hard for our family. But this raffle gives us a way to honor our dad's memory while helping with funeral and household expenses, and ensuring Solovino finds the good home he deserves.

Every entry is a gesture of support during one of the most painful moments our family has faced, and we are deeply grateful for every person who chooses to stand with us.
